Where are you located?
We are a fully-insured, home-based business located in Eagle River, Alaska. We are conveniently located just 5 minutes from the Glenn Highway and the Highland Exit.
What is your service radius?
AK Dog Den serves clients within a 5 mile radius from the city center of Eagle River. We gladly welcome pups from other cities, however, we cannot provide transportation or drop-in visits outside of our radius at this time.
Do you accept pets with special needs?
Yes! We welcome dogs with special needs, as we are able to assist with medication management and specific dietary needs. Please contact us with any questions you may have - we're happy to accommodate!
Are there any breed/weight restrictions?
Due to insurance, there are certain breeds that we cannot service. Additionally, while we have the biggest hearts for bigger pups, our home is filled with tiny fur friends and tiny people. We prefer visiting pups under 40 lbs but will make exceptions for the right pup!
What is your deposit policy?
We require a $100 deposit for all boarding reservations at the time of booking. This fee is non-refundable but will be applied as a credit to your final bill.
What payment methods do you accept?
AK Dog Den will invoice you for services. We are currently using PayPal. PayPal accepts most major credit cards, bank transfer, & Venmo. Payment is due in full 24-hours prior to stay.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made 7 days or more before the booking date are eligible for a refund of the total amount paid, excluding the non-refundable deposit. No refund will be issued for cancellations made within 7 days of the booking date.
