A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to secure your reservation. - The booking will be considered confirmed upon receipt of the non-refundable deposit.

The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 24 hours before the scheduled booking. Failure to make the full payment within the specified time frame may result in the cancellation of the reservation without a refund - with or without notification.

Cancellations made 7 days or more before the booking date are eligible for a refund of the total amount paid, excluding the non-refundable deposit. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 7 days of the booking date.

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 1 business day from the date of cancellation.

Changes to the booking dates are subject to availability and must be requested at least 7 days before the original booking date.

AK DOG DEN reserves the right to cancel or reschedule bookings in the event of unforeseen circumstances or force majeure.

For unaltered males, you are required to provide belly bands and pads OR disposable wraps for their stay. The urge to mark in new environments is very strong and since this is our family home, there will be no exception to this. Females in heat will need to be provided diapers for their stay.

In our efforts to accommodate all pets entrusted to our care, we may find it necessary to address any concerning behaviors with owners. Due to spatial limitations within our residence, prolonged separation of dogs displaying aggression is not feasible. Should your pet exhibit signs of aggression during their stay, a temporary isolation period for acclimatization will be implemented, followed by a gradual reintroduction process to assess their behavior. If these interventions fail to yield desired results, the safety of our household members and guests takes precedence. In such cases, the booking will be cancelled, and owners will have 24 hours to retrieve their pet. In the event that such arrangements cannot be facilitated, and local assistance is unavailable, we are prepared to offer referrals to alternative providers and provide assistance throughout the transition period. Pets will need to be picked-up on the agreed upon date and time OR notify us of any delays. AK DOG DEN will contact the owner and emergency contacts on file if owner is a no call, no show. We will hold your pet(s) for a maximum of 2 days before turning over to the Municipality of Anchorage Animal Control

Our timer begins as soon as we reach the front door. It is the client’s responsibility to provide us with instructions for entry, keys, and/or codes.
